Mold Inspections

A mold inspection typically consists of 2 parts:

1.  A visual inspection for points and sources of water intrusion into the building envelope.  Where water is present inside a home or building mold is sure to follow. 

2.  Air sampling for the presence of mold spores in the indoor enviornment. Water-damaged buildings and buildings where water is present contain abnormally high quantities of both whole and fragmented mold spores. In sufficient amounts these spores and fragments can have adverse health effects on both people and animals.

BTH mold inspection clients will receive a complete report on both aspects of the inspection.

BTH offers mold remediation services.  These services include mold cleaning and treating the affected area to prevent reoccurence. Recommendations will also be made concerning water and moisture management.
